Register Printing is actually not the new technology. When printing an image that has more than one color, depending on the method of printing, it is necessary to print the image one separate time for each separate color. Each one is called a "color run," and they can be pulled from the same surface, inked differently, or from a completely different surface. So that the final image is consistent, and so each of the colors lines up correctly, a system of registration is necessary. Different printing devices have different methods of creating separate color runs.

When the film or paper has been going through coating, metallizing, embossing, sizing, and printing process, it's hard to control the film or paper's shrinkable ratio, but K Laser did. They use their professional mastering ability to make shrinkable ratio as minus as possible in every steps. The finish product's tolerance eventually can be controlled within +-0.5mm. More specifically, this label combined VOID effect material to create double security function. It can be applied on windsleeve and alcohol label to defense fake product from the label pirates.

This concept will be introduced at K Laser booth, 5D75, of Labelexpo Europe 2009 in Brussels from Sept. 23-26, 2009.
