Essence 58 — Beautiful packaging design inspired by liquor bubbles

Designed to house a glass liquor bottle in a refined gift set, "Essence 58" features double-layered laminated sheets to reinforce structural strength and carrying capacity.

To elevate its visual presence, our in-house designer applied a customized stereo relief technique combined with registered printing. The result is a striking interplay of bubble-like organic patterns layered in varying intensities — maximizing the depth, texture, and brilliance achievable through registered holographic effects.

A gift box with intriguing holographic effects

Folding cartons are an excellent choice for gift boxes. To enhance these packages, applying a sheer protective layer to the surface finish is essential. The vivid imagery of the dazzling moon is created using the co-optical beam pattern K196C Silver, while the commonly used PET Film helps stabilize the appearance. Laminating with PET Film provides the gift box with basic protection against scratches and water spills.

Flexible packaging

A smart approach to face mask packaging decoration

Lamination is the ideal partner for flexible packaging, thanks to its adaptability and waterproof properties. Using a hologram as a background is a popular technique among our customers' packaging applications. In the examples below, the hologram features high-transparency pink and yellow tones that resonate with the main ingredient of the face mask—fermented broth—setting off the fruits in the foreground.

The outer packaging is folding carton, applying with our Fresnel lens effect.

The inner packaging is a soft material containing the face mask and features K Laser's proprietary Tru-Seamless™ technology in rainbow pattern.

Enhance a brand's perceived value with rainbow pattern

The coffee ball packaging introduced by CAFE!N utilizes the rainbow pattern to leverage the coffee aroma. Using Rainbow as the background, its most remarkable aspect is that it only requires plain colors to complement it. Let's take CAFE!N coffee ball packaging, for example:

On the packaging for the 2-capsule pack, words in a white sans-serif font pop out against a backdrop of rainbow patterns. The design exudes simplicity in a glamorous yet legible manner.

Conversely, the 12-capsule pack employs a contrasting approach. Against an all-black background, rainbow color-shimmering graphics emerge prominently from the darkness. In the application of CAFE!N coffee ball packaging, the rainbow pattern enhances the brand by helping the packaging express a modern, clean, bold, and vibrant image to the audience.

Inspired by the natural beauty of southern France, Les Jardins de la Côte d'Azur—an original design by K Laser Design Lab—captures the enchanting essence of the Côte d'Azur in a single packaging series.

This series features six distinct designs, each showcasing different patterns, including holography, Fresnel lens effects, and stereo relief. By cleverly applying patterns with varying optical depths along with specific color tones and shapes, the flat patterns transform into an artistic concept that engages the senses.
