N002 Organ Pipes
Capturing Kinetic Energy: Visualizing Velocity with Our New TSL Pattern

Capturing the essence of speed on a static surface is a perennial challenge for designers. For this promotional leaflet, the objective was to move beyond traditional "motion blur" graphics and create a physical experience of velocity. The goal was to make the viewer feel the power and movement of a high-performance racing car through the synergy of print and light.

The Solution
We utilized our original N002 Organ Pipes pattern, produced with Tru-Seamless (TSL) technology. The pattern's monochrome, horizontal (cross-web) pillar-of-light naturally mimics the "shutter-speed" lines found in professional motorsports photography.
By strategically aligning a racing car graphic with the pattern's brushed texture, the design creates a layered "motion blur" effect. The graphic design doesn't just sit on top of the hologram; it interacts with it. The horizontal cadence of the "pipes" provides a structural background that looks like light reflecting off a car at full throttle.

The Result
The final leaflet is a masterclass in interactive design. As the viewer tilts the paper, the single pillar of light sweeps across the car's silhouette, simulating the flash of a vehicle passing at high speed. This project demonstrates how N002 Organ Pipes can be used as a storytelling tool—transforming a flat, printed image into a dynamic, high-energy brand experience.

2025 Calendar
A trendsetting holographic calendar that shines brighter
Previously, we shared how holograms contributed to minimalist packaging design in the collaboration with CAFE!N. As we step into the brand new 2025—Year of the Snake—surveys indicate a global shift towards bold simplicity paired with more intricate illustrations. This trend is perfectly embodied in our latest calendar!

It is our rainbow pattern that creates a holographic effect reminiscent of a snake's body, enhanced by a vibrant spectrum finish. The hologram pairs seamlessly with unconventional color combinations, delivering a truly unique visual experience.

2024 Red Envelope
A red envelope with velvet touch lamination
Chinese people deliver their best wishes through red envelopes, both physically and emotionally. This means the envelopes should maintain a fresh, clean appearance and, most importantly, securely hold the money inside.

The Velvet Film is laminated onto the substrate to ensure the envelope is tear-resistant. Additionally, using Velvet Film adds a velvety touch, making the envelope-exchanging ritual a special, personal moment that feels uniquely yours.

2022 Calendar
A calendar that brings hologram alive
Traditional paper can sometimes feel ordinary, but holograms have truly changed the game. Each year, our Design Lab creates a calendar that showcases K Laser's expertise in holography.

The pictures below feature our 2022 calendar, which highlights twelve of the most effectively used hologram patterns for each month. This calendar not only serves as a timekeeper but also functions as a pattern selection book. By carefully blending different holographic effects with graphic design, it achieves a striking visual outcome that makes the images leap off the page.
