N002 Organ Pipes

We released the new holographic pattern, N002 Organ Pipes, in January 2026. This design features a brushed texture with a monochrome pillar-of-light effect in the cross-web direction.
As an original K Laser pattern, N002 is produced using the company's patented Tru-Seamless technology (TSL). The pattern is now available for integration into global packaging and labeling applications.

Beyond Curvature: Exploring Dimensionality through Hand-Drawn Typography and N002

Bridging the gap between organic forms and industrial precision is a perennial challenge in tactile design. Following our exploration of high-velocity aesthetics in print, we sought to apply the same technical rigor to a more whimsical medium: The K LASER Fun Stickers. The objective was to transform playful, hand-drawn typography into a premium metallic experience through the strategic application of light.

The Design Logic: Contrasting Forms

The project centers on the six letters of K-L-A-S-E-R, reimagined in an original, hand-drawn bubble font. To move beyond the inherent "softness" of the curves, each character was engineered with a distinct 3D metallic effect. This provides a sense of structural weight, creating a foundation where the graphic doesn't just sit on the substrate—it commands it.

Technical Synergy: The 45-Degree Strategic Alignment

The defining characteristic of this project lies in the reorientation of our N002 Organ Pipes pattern. While N002 is typically celebrated for its vertical "shutter-speed" lines, we implemented a 45-degree rotation to create a diagonal pillar of light. This shift creates a sophisticated visual synergy; the slanted, fine-brushed texture echoes the rounded contours of the bubble letters, mimicking the way light reflects off high-polish curved metal.

The Interactive Experience

The final result is a masterclass in interactive tactile design. As the viewer rotates the sticker, the interplay between the 3D lettering and the tilted N002 pattern creates a dynamic flickery effect. The diagonal pillars sweep across the inflated silhouettes, simulating a "brushed-steel" glow that brings the hand-drawn art to life.

A Storytelling Tool

This project demonstrates that N002 is far more than a technical pattern—it is a versatile storytelling tool. By manipulating its orientation, we have transformed a playful sticker into a high-energy brand experience, proving that even the most lighthearted designs can achieve a level of sophisticated, multi-dimensional depth.

Capturing Kinetic Energy: Visualizing Velocity with Our New TSL Pattern

Capturing the essence of speed on a static surface is a perennial challenge for designers. For this promotional leaflet, the objective was to move beyond traditional "motion blur" graphics and create a physical experience of velocity. The goal was to make the viewer feel the power and movement of a high-performance racing car through the synergy of print and light.

The Solution

We utilized our original N002 Organ Pipes pattern, produced with Tru-Seamless (TSL) technology. The pattern's monochrome, horizontal (cross-web) pillar-of-light naturally mimics the "shutter-speed" lines found in professional motorsports photography.

By strategically aligning a racing car graphic with the pattern's brushed texture, the design creates a layered "motion blur" effect. The graphic design doesn't just sit on top of the hologram; it interacts with it. The horizontal cadence of the "pipes" provides a structural background that looks like light reflecting off a car at full throttle.

The Result

The final leaflet is a masterclass in interactive design. As the viewer tilts the paper, the single pillar of light sweeps across the car's silhouette, simulating the flash of a vehicle passing at high speed. This project demonstrates how N002 Organ Pipes can be used as a storytelling tool—transforming a flat, printed image into a dynamic, high-energy brand experience.
